Colorado Burns' lyrics were written by PI's Sara Geller with music written and composed by PI's Christopher Malone. The music incorporates elements of the music often danced to by zouk dancers. The ending fanfare includes an orchestration of strings and brass, written in almost a celebratory fashion.
