Paranoid Image is a genre-bending acoustic fusion band looking for a talented Latin percussionist to join us! Instead of using a drum set, we get our rhythms from our wildly creative percussion section. We’re looking for a pro who can add their flare to the established stuff, while also contributing to new tunes. Bring your Latin percussion talent and apply it to a wide variety of styles - which makes up the PI sound.
The instrumentation for this position is a Quinto/Conga/Tumba set, Bongos, Djembe, Shakers, and a Floor Tom. This instrumentation line up is the foundation of our sound, so please understand these specific requirements.
We have a fun and fantastic time creating, recording and performing together! We are a serious band that rehearses once a week and is focused on putting out quality and creative music and touring.

Other Songs / Covers: We have definitely grown and matured in our sound over the past years and our upcoming 2023 album will definitely showcase that. Our full repertoire includes the new album songs as well as the following covers: "Afro Blue" (in 3/4 - our own arrangement that morphs into "Footprints"), "Goodbye" (by Apparat - the theme song to the "Dark" series), "They Don't Really Care About Us" by Michael Jackson, and "Heavy in Your Arms" by Florence & the Machine (see the video below for "Afro Blue" and "Heavy in Your Arms").
New Songs: We are constantly writing and creating, and we'd love you to be part of that. Our 2023 album includes songs such as our "Colorado Burns" and "90 Days".
